Delete Your Account
Users can request deletion of their RemindShot account and associated data at any time.
Current deletion method
In-app account deletion is not available yet.
To request account deletion, send an email to:
contact@zeitio.com
Please send the request from the email address associated with your RemindShot account and use the subject line:
"Delete my RemindShot account"
Verification
To help protect users from unauthorized deletion requests, RemindShot may request reasonable account ownership verification before processing deletion requests.
What data is deleted
When an account deletion request is approved and processed, RemindShot will delete or anonymize, where technically and legally possible:
- Account information
- Uploaded screenshots
- OCR extracted text
- AI-generated titles, summaries, and metadata
- Reminder data
- Notification preferences
- Email reminder settings
- Stored app preferences
What data may be retained
Some information may be retained for limited periods where required for:
- Legal compliance
- Tax or financial obligations
- Fraud prevention
- Security monitoring
- Subscription and payment records
- Dispute resolution
- Backup and recovery systems
- Operational or technical requirements
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and applicable legal obligations.
Expected deletion timeline
Deletion requests are generally processed within 30 days after successful verification unless legal, security, or operational reasons require additional retention time.
