RemindShot collects the information needed to provide screenshot reminders. This may include account information, uploaded screenshots, camera captures, OCR text extracted from screenshots, AI-generated titles, smart categories, reminder dates and notes, notification preferences, optional email reminder addresses, subscription status, analytics events, crash logs, and support messages.

How information is used

Data is used to provide screenshot reminders, organize screenshots, extract searchable text, generate helpful metadata, deliver notifications, send optional email reminders, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

Screenshots and OCR text

Uploaded screenshots and extracted text may contain personal information chosen by the user. Users should avoid uploading sensitive screenshots unless they are comfortable storing and processing that content in the app.

Firebase usage

RemindShot may use Firebase services for authentication, cloud storage, database functionality, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and related backend operations.

RevenueCat usage

RemindShot may use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, premium entitlement checks, purchase history, and app store subscription integrations.

Data sharing

RemindShot does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers required to operate the app, such as Firebase, RevenueCat, analytics, crash reporting, and email delivery providers.

Data retention

App data is retained while an account is active or as needed to provide RemindShot. Some information may be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, subscription, backup, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Users may delete screenshots and reminders where app controls are available. Account deletion can be requested by contacting contact@zeitio.com. Requests are processed after reasonable account verification.
